225,448. Schwabe, L. April 4, 1924. Coating fabrics in long lengths.-Coating substance is delivered bv a. funnel 7 upon an endless band 1, the layer being made uniform by a scraper 10. Cold air may be blown by a nozzle- 15. The laden band and the web 14 are then pressed together by rollers 17, 20. The coated fabric is separated from the band by a cutter 23. In modified apparatus, Fig. 3, the funnel 7 delivers upon the web which then passes between rolls 24, 25 and then between an endless band 27 and the band 1 and rollers 31, 32.
