Abstract

219,672. Erste Br³nner Maschinen- Fabriks-Ges. July 26, 1923, [Convention date]. Nozzles for interstage diaphragms are cut from a ring or curved bar so that the cut surfaces follow the contour of one side of the fluid passage, and the whole of the fluid passage c, Fig. 4, is milled out of one of the cut faces. The blades are placed side by side and the passage c of each blade is closed by the rear wall of the adjacent blade. The blades have tapered roots g which are secured in a groove in the diaphragm i, Fig. 5, bv cross pins m. The heads h enter a groove in the casing or a separate supporting member.
