Abstract

218,775. Martin, J. W. April 25, 1923. Geared pulley-hoists; driving-gear for winding and paying-out apparatus.-Worm-driven lifting- appliances of the type described in Specification 2067/12 are modified by utilizing the double drive for the worm without the provision of compensating levers. In the illustrated construction, the worms D, E gear with opposite sides of the worm wheel C and are geared together by the spur wheels F, F<1>. A suspension hook and driving pulley H complete the apparatus.
