Description

SPECIFICATION Inflatable windshield bed This invention relates to a combined airbed/ windbreak. The use of air beds is well known for sunbathing, relaxing, and camping. Their great advantage, being inflatable, is easy storage, handling and carrying.
The use of windbreaks is equally well known, but, being of larger dimensions and ridged construction it is more cumbersome to pack, carry and erect.
This invention allows the air bed and windbreakto be combined into one easy to carry, pack and use article.
The invention will now be described in detail with the help of the accompanying drawing.
Figure 1 shows the inflatable windshield bed fully inflated, with the end shield detached. This end shield can be attached on either end, and has two blow up points 4 and 5. If only point 4 is used to inflate, the shield is inflated along the axis A-B, the top corner is then folded down, so becoming half the size. The end shield is attached to either end by sturdy fastenings.
The windshield bed has three or more blow up points, 1 and 6 adjust the height of the side shield.
The base has one or more blow up points, 2 and 3 shows two points, so that pressure can be adjusted for comfort, 3 being the head rest.
Figure 2 shows the end elevation.
1. An inflatable windshield bed comprising of a base and a side shield.
2. An inflatable windshield bed as in claim 1, but also wherein the side shield could be made separately from the base, and being securely fastened on either side of the base.
3. An inflatable windshield bed as in claim 1 wherein the side shield is permanently fixed to the base.
4. An inflatable windshield bed as in claim 1, 2 and 3 with a detachable end shield which can be securely fixed to either end of the base and side shield.
5. An inflatable windshield bed as in claim 1,2 and 3 with an end shield permanently fixed to either or both ends of the base and side shield.
6. An inflatable windshield bed as in claim 1 to 5 wherein the base, side shield and end shield can be of any size.
7. An inflatable windshield bed as in claim 1 to 6 wherein any number of blow up points can be put in.
