Abstract

A rucksack convertible into a bed, stretcher or the like comprises two telescopic rods allowing the rucksack to be extended so as to form the frame of a bed, stretcher or the like. The top flap of the rucksack may be used as an integral inflatable pillow. The rucksack may be available in different sizes and lengths so as to suit different users.

WHEN OUT CAMPING A PERSON CAN HAVE THEIR ENJOYMENT SPOILT BY HAVING TO SLEEP ROUGH ON A VERY HARD GROUND, EVEN WHEN USING A CAMPING BAG, SO THEREFORE I SUGGEST USING A CANVAS FOLDUP BED THAT INCORPORATES THE USE OF THE RUCKSACK AND TWO ADJUSTABLE TELESCOPIC RODS, ONE ON EACH SIDE, THIS WOULD ALLOW THE CAMPER TO SLEEP ABOUT EIGHTEEN INCHES ABOVE THE GROUND AND WOULD KEEP THEM DRY, EVEN IF THE RAIN WAS TO SEEP IN... AGAIN IF SOMEONE WAS TO GET INJURED IT COULD BE USED AS A STRETCHER...

Claims (1)

  1. THE NEW DESIGNED RUCKSACK.
    CONSISTS OF TWO TELESCOPIC RODS THAT ARE HELD TOGETHER BY THREE RIGID BARS ABOUT TWO FOOT IN LENGTH, ONE IN THE MIDDLE AND THE OTHER TWO EXACTLY NINE INCHES FROM THE TOP AND BOTTOM.
    THE RUCKSACK IS TWO FOOT SIX IN LENGTH, BUT WILL EXTEND TO SIX FOOT...
    THE TOP OF THE RUCKSACK HAS TWO SHOULDER STRAPS MADE OF THIN FLAT FLEXIBLE STEEL...
