Abstract

Solutions of cellulose acetate used for spinning artificial filaments contain 25-30 per cent or more of the acetate. By the employment of these concentrated solutions, stronger filaments are obtained and an economy of solvent is effected. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications p 194,666 and 210,108.
