Abstract

216,404. McNay, J. T. Aug. 17, 1923. Moulding floors in situ.-Floor and beam centering is supported by adjustable bearers a, b, the inner ends of the two members having guides and supports d fixed to them and adapted to enter top recesses on the two members. These recesses are formed by sawing pieces from the top strips c fixed to the members. The beam centering f is supported on adjustable levers, j, l, the bearers j being secured by parts h to the ends of the adjustable floor bearers; or part of the beam mould bearer may be of angle shape to which the other arm is adjustably secured. The beam-centering bearers may be carried by links n on the ends of the floor bearers so that the angles of the sides of the beam moulds mav be varied'. When casting around metal floor joists. the beam mould bearers are adjustably supported by members p which have a multiplicity of bearing edges to give a graduated fine adjustment for depth of beam.
