Abstract

214,505. Slade, Sir E. J. W., and Adams, E. S. R. June 28, 1923. Machine guns.-A gas-operated gun of the kind in which gases are tapped from the cartridge chamber, is provided with a removable liner for the gas passage. As shown, the liner h is integral with the cylinder e which is secured by a strap i and screw j. The Provisional Specification describes also the application of the removable liner to guns in which the gas passage communicates with the barrel bore.
