Abstract

211,578. Packham, F. S. Nov. 23. 1922. Hoods.-Relates to wind and weather screens for vehicles such as perambulators, bath chairs, &c. of the kind which are associated with a hood b and consist of a wholly or partly transparent sheet a of flexible material capable of being rolled up when not in use as a screen. In order to adapt the screen to hoods of various widths, fastening devices d for gripping the hoods are mounted on the screen so as to be capable of lateral adjustment relatively thereto. Preferably the fastening means comprise springs clips d slidably and pivotally connected by wire loops f to the limbs e<1> of a support e stitched or otherwise secured to the screen. A tab h having a snap button i is provided on one edge of the screen and co-operates with a stud j to hold the screen in its rolled-up condition either on or removed from the hood.
