Retractive switches. -A safety switch in the electric circuit of a bomb dropping apparatus comprises a plug v<1> pivoted to an arm V on an operating handle T, the plug v<1> being normally out of action in a recess t in the handle. To close the switch, the plug v<1> is rocked down by a thumb piece v<2>, and the arm V is gripped against the handle T, bringing the plug v<1> between contacts t<2>, t<3>.
