Seamed joints. - An anode or other electrode consists of two similar members 1, 2, Fig. 3, of sheet metal each having edges 3, 4 lying adjacent to and parallel with the edges of the other member, the edges being clamped together by bending over an extension 5 of an edge of each member. Supporting rods 7, Fig. 1, may be clamped between the edges. Holes 10 may be punched through the edges and the punched out parts hammered over to provide additional clamping means.
