Abstract

211,355. Hayes, H. R., and Wheeler, W. F. March 14, 1923. Supports for bicycles, motor-cycles, and the like comprise a rod A having a slot G engaged by a pin C passing through two projections B. The projections B may be formed on a bracket clamped to the chain-stays or other part of the frame, or may be formed on the frame itself. The rod is held firmly with the pin C at any point in the slot by the wedging of the rod between the pin and the bracket face F, which, together with the engaging surface of the rod, may be serrated or corrugated. When not required the rod is held in a similar manner in an inverted position.
