Abstract

174,857. Heinzerling, J. B. Jan. 18, 1921. Post files.-In letter files of the kind wherein a split ring is adjustably mounted on a lug forming part of a base member, the lug is provided with an arcuate slot 7 in which the split ring 10 is clamped by a screw 9 passing transversely through the lug, and the ends of the ring are pointed and flattened to overlap as shown at 12. The base 5 is hollow and preferably of metal.
