Hose and flexible pipes. - In corrugated tubes with helicoidal grooves which are adapted to receive reinforcing coils one on the inside and one on the outside, the coils b, c fill the corrugations so that there is only the bare thickness of the tube between adjacent turns and in an axial section of the tube the centres of the section of wire forming the inner and outer coils lie on lines parallel to the axis of the tube. The gauges of the wire may be the same or different.
