Cycle lamps.-Relates to cycle and like lamps of the type in which an oil reservoir carrying the burner is hinged or otherwise detachably secured to a cylindrical body provided with air-admitting apertures near the lower edge, and consists in forming an inwardly projecting flange h on the body c immediately above the apertures g which flange in conjunction with an upstanding portion j provided on the reservoir a prevents air admitted through the apertures g from impinging directly on the flame. In the case of lamps burning paraffin, apertures m, l are also provided in the top and side walls of the upstanding portion j.
