Latex, coagulating. - Latex is coagulated by adding a suitable quantity (usually 30-80 per cent) of comminuted filling, colouring, or vulcanizing agents and agitating the mixture. The coagulum is dried with or without artificial heat and is then subjected to the usual manufacturing processes of milling, sheeting, &c.
