Abstract

207,611. Webb, H. C., and Webb, A. A. Aug. 31, 1922. Holders for condensed milk &c. tins.-A juglike holder for a tin of condensed milk &c. comprising a body part a for receiving a tin c, having a spout a<2>, handle d, and leaf spring e for clipping the tin in position, is provided with a lid f having a depending rim to close over the body a except where it has to clear the spout and handle. A perforator comprising a pointed screw pin g' provided with a knob g is carried by the lid and arranged so that, on reversing the position of the lid, a pouring hole c<2> and vent hole c<3> may be perforated in the tin. To cover the spout and pouring hole when required the lid is provided with a sliding plate h, having a part h<2> to fit the spout, operated by a knob h<3> working in a slot which is covered by a plate f <6>. The holder is provided with a hole in its bottom so that the tin may be removed by hand pressure.
