Indicators, application of; seats; thermallyactuated valves.-An indicating-device for valve adjustments comprises telescopically arranged cylindrical portions 23, 24, the portion 23 moving helically with the adjusting member 22 and the portion 24 being stationary, and one part having a circumferential scale 13 and the other part having a longitudinal scale 14. The device is shown as applied for adjusting the valve seat 20, the valve member being operated by a thermostat 19 as described in Specification 26583/13; the device is also described and shown in connection with the actuating handle of screw-down lift valve.
