Abstract

Jan. 4, 1923. , Inking-apparatus. - Boxes for containing stamp inking-pads or other materials which may soil the hands of the user, of the kind in which the lid is opened and closed by a pivoted lever with two projections, have the lever 4 pivoted at 5 inside the box 1 in a space formed by a partition 3. When the press stud 6 is depressed the projection 7 on the lever engages the open lid 12 and closes it, the second projection 9 acting in similar manner to open the lid. The latter preferably fits inside flanges 13 on the box.
