Abstract

Frying-ranges; air-heating stoves.-In a frying- range, of the kind fired from both sides and having flues C leading to a central smoke-box E communicating with the chimney F, an air-heating box H, provided internally with one or more baffles L, is arranged centrally within the smoke-box and is fitted with an inlet pipe J, having a valve V and a gauze covered flared mouth U, and with an outlet pipe K which passes through the chipbox B and has branches discharging the heated air on to the fish-racks A. The pipe J may be telescopic and the upper end of the pipe K delivers into a loose fitting N having lateral branches P which lead to the fish-racks A and which are provided at their ends with sliding sleeves S to allow the fitting to be readily applied or removed. According to the Provisional Specification the air heated in the box H is utilized for warming rooms.
