Abstract

204,484. Crocker, C. E. Aug. 22, 1922, Refrigerators, domestic and like.-The casing is of enamelled sheet metal and provided with a hinged front or side door 6 and a hinged top 4, which may be supported in a partlyopen position by struts 5 pivoted to the side walls. The ice &c. container 10 is of circular cross-section and rests on the base of the chamber, a ring socket being provided to receive its lower end. It is preferably placed at the back, as shown. Removable shelves 13 supported on the side walls are notched to fit around the ice &c, container. Gauze-covered ventilation openings 8 may be provided at the top of the sides or back, and a gauze screen to prevent entrance of dirt or insects may be fitted below the hinged top 4. Lifting-handles may be provided at the sides.
