Abstract

276,567. Crowe, G. E. W. Feb. 15, 1927. Refrigerators, domestic and like, comprise an insulated cabinet having ice. bottle, and food compartments formed with air circulation openings 9, 10, 11. The ice compartment is provided with a corrugated false floor 13, and the water produced by the melting ice drains through a pipe 16 to a collecting tray 17. The lower end of the pipe is provided with a cap 20 which prevents flies &c. from entering the cabinet.
