Abstract

Cold storage rooms; refrigerators, domestic and like.-The rear edge of the ice-supporting shelf 2 is provided with an upwardly extending partition 9 spaced from the rear wall of the refrigerator 1 and provided with apertures 11 at the top to permit the circulation of the air. The lower edge of the front lining 13 of the ice-chamber is bent outwardly to form a lip 12 extending slightly over the front edge of the shelf. The ice is supported on a rack carried by the shelf, comprising a sheet 15 of metal folded at intervals to form spaced V-shaped grooves and reinforced by metal tie rods 17 passing through perforations in the grooves.
