Abstract
A device for heating water in which water from a reservoir is piped around one or more gas burners of a domestic cooker and the water thus heated is returned to the reservoir for domestic use. <IMAGE>
Description
SPECÌFICATION Hot water system
This invention relates to hot water systems.
A conventional Chinese cooker comprises a hot plate provided with a series of holes beneath each of which is located a gas burner.
According to my invention I surround at least one of the bumers with a water pipe coil, and the water pipe coil is connected to a water cistern for heating the water in the cistern.
Preferably a water pipe coil is associated with each burner, and the coils are connected in series with each other.
The cistern is preferably located at a higher level than the cooker.
A preferred arrangement is shown in the accompanying sketch.
1. A device for heating water in which water is piped around one or more gas burners for the purpose of heating water.
2. A device in which it is possible to draw off the water thus heated for domestic purposes.
3. A device containing a plurality of tanks in which cold water can be stored separately from the heated water.
4. A device in which the gas burners form part of a domestic cooker.
5. A domestic cooker incorporating the above claims.

Claims (5)
1. A device for heating water in which water is piped around one or more gas burners for the purpose of heating water.
2. A device in which it is possible to draw off the water thus heated for domestic purposes.
3. A device containing a plurality of tanks in which cold water can be stored separately from the heated water.
4. A device in which the gas burners form part of a domestic cooker.
5. A domestic cooker incorporating the above claims.
