Abstract

204,101. Mimosa Alit.-Ges., and Loening, E. June 17, 1922. Papers; emulsion coatings, preparing; toning and alter-treatment.-Line drawings, letterpress, &c. are copied by exposing in a camera a thinlycoated silver bromide paper, developing, dissolving out the exposed portions of the emulsion by treatment with a bath of acid persulphate or hydrogen peroxide, and colouring the portions remaining, for example with a sulphide, bath or by reduction. The colouring step may be omitted if a coloured emulsion is used, or colouring material may be added to the developer or to the persulphate or peroxide bath. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 7188/95, 22735/05 and 182,846.
