Abstract
202,120. Arnold, E., and Brown, C. E. June 26, 1922. Securing bags and wrappers, special means for. -A length of soft wire a, a<1>, bent as shown, is applied to the outside face of a, bag, carton, &c. near the mouth, and forms a closure when the mouth is folded over. The wire may be crimped, and may be enclosed in a paper sheath or masked by a separate length of paper stuck to the bag. The ends a<1> of the wire may be passed several times through the wall of the bag. The wire may have three or more parts a<1>. Two or more lengths of wire, Fig. 5, may be used.
