Maps.-An advertising de.- vice comprises a casing a, b containing a panel f for a map and panels 1, 2, &c. for advertising matter and means for simultaneously illuminating the position of an advertiser's premises on the map and only that panel containing the corresponding advertisement. The frame a is fitted with a front glass e and with an opaque backing c having apertures or non- opaque portions for illumination by lamps h, i. The lamps are carried 'by the casing b, one terminal of each lamp being connected to a zinc plate n connected to a battery k. Switches s are each connected to the battery and to one of the lamps h behind the map and lamps i behind one of the advertisements.
