Abstract

201,899. Spengler, H. Aug. 4, 1922, [Convention date]. Capsule and like closures. - In a closure member of the type described in Specifications 23843/12 and 105,547 and comprising a top having a central bulged area, depression of which spreads marginally disposed gripping fingers to permit removal of the closure member, the top 5, over an area extending right up to and completely around the extreme margin of the bulged portion from which the gripping members extend, is formed with concentric undulations of varying curvature and resiliency to increase the displacement of the fingers 7 when the top is depressed. Corrugated domes or peenings 9, Fig. 5, may replace the undulations.
