Abstract

An injection pump has a quantity- regulating member (20) equipped with a movable full-load stop means (30b) which is biased by means of a spring (34) in a retracted position clear of the quantity- regulating member (20) and is urged into its path of movement by an increase of e.g. oil pressure from the engine as its r.p.m. rate rises. A spring member may loosely surround the stop surface to deflect and provide an extended stop position giving extra fuel, at high load/ and low speed conditions. <IMAGE>
