Abstract

A breathable gas regulator for use with a low pressure (10 p.s.i. or less) gas source has a demand valve 10 actuated by a fluidic amplifier 12 responsive to the user's breathing pressure which is sensed by unit 16. The regulator requires no greater demand effort, and the ducts, diaphragms and valves are of no greater size, than presently known demand regulator using gas sources of pressure 70 p.s.i. and above. <IMAGE>
