Abstract

A fluid spray pump for spraying a fluid from a fluid container 11 through a terminal orifice 76 comprises a cylinder 26 connected by a check valve 42 to the fluid container. A piston assembly 86, 64 is reciprocated by a trigger 60 and has channels 72 for communicating the cylinder 26 with the terminal orifice 76, opening and closing of the channels being controlled by an annular seal 104 movably mounted on the piston assembly. Alternative piston and seal constructions are described. <IMAGE>
