Abstract

The device indicates whether functions such as lights (14 to 16, 21 to 24 and 29), lubrication, and cooling system in a motor vehicle are serviceable by means of a common indicator lamp 36 indicating that all functions are operational and individual indicator lamps 37 indicating which function is out of action. This is achieved by means of threshold comparator circuits 35 which compare inputs 12, 19, 26 or 31 with threshold values and supply an output either to the common lamp 36 or to a respective lamp 37. Operation of switches 32 is dependent on the condition of functions such as lubrication and cooling. <IMAGE>
