Abstract

The present invention relates to improvements in pneumatic respirators of the kind having a primary circuit for the gas providing motive power and a secondary circuit for the breathing gas, the respirator according to the invention comprising, in the primary power circuit, an amplifier for amplifying the rate of flow of motive gas, said amplifier being constituted by a gas ejector 14 mounted axially at the inlet of a venturi 15 and opening in a chamber for suction of atmospheric air communicating with the atmosphere via a non-return valve 24. <IMAGE>
