Abstract

An ultra-high-frequency propagation line 13 has resonators each of which comprises a negative-resistance diode 15, 16 and 17 as active element, which are variably coupled along the line so that each of the active elements is in the same electrical state and supply the same power. The amplifier may use a multi-bar delay line resonator (Figure 6-10 not shown), and the negative-resistance diodes may be such as Gunn effect, Impatt or terminal diodes. <IMAGE>
