Disc wheels. - In metal wheels of the kind in which the wheel body and brakedrum care cast or pressed in one piece, preferably of a light alloy of high-heat conductivity, the brake-drum is connected to the rim either by spokes b or a disc, and radial ribs extend between the brake-drum and the rim and to the inner edges thereof. The spokes may be of channel or tubular section. The central part d of the wheel is in the form of a disc and may be radially ribbed in continuation of the spokes. Reinforcing ribs c<1> may be provided interiorly of the brakedrum. Specification 167,732 is referred to.
