Abstract
198,220. Hodgetts, R. June 9, 1922. Disc and like plate hinges; pivoting adjustments.-The joint for the stretcher bars of perambulators &c. is made by flattening the ends 2 of the circular bans 1 so that they may be accommodated between the links of a U-shaped member 3 and pivot about a central axis pin 4 fixed between the two limbs. The joining-piece 5 of the U-shaped member forms a stop to limit the opening movement of the bars, and an additional pin may limit the movement of each bar to 90‹.
