Reservoir pens.-In reservoirpen caps of the kind in which the nib can be exposed without removal of the cap, means operated by the sliding movement of the cap and rotatable about the longitudinal axis of the pen is provided for covering the hole in the cap through which the nib is projected. The cap preferably comprises inner and outer relatively rotatable shells B, C having holes B<2>, C<2>, which are out of register when the nib is covered. The nib A<1> is eccentrically mounted, and is opposite to the hole C<2> in the outer cap C, which can slide without rotation on the pen. A pin D on the pen body engages a spiral slot in the inner shell B and a straight slot in the outer shell C, so that, when the cap is moved in a direction to uncover the nib, the holes B<2>, C<2> are brought into register.
