Abstract
194,953. Mansfield, T. E. April 8, 1922. Table frames made of metal parts detachably secured together. Vertical and horizontal projections are cast on the inside of the legs to position the side and end frames, and the legs are fitted interiorly with stud bolts which coact with clamps to make the frames rigid. As shown in Fig. 2, the ends B of the frames A are flanged to abut against vertical projections of the legs, and the frames A rest on horizontal projections E, Fig. 1, and fit under flanges F. The frames are further positioned by studs H which enter blind holes in the legs and by the engagement of the ends of the upper flanged edges I and the lower beaded edges G with projections on the legs. A clamp C engaging the flanges B is provided with holes through which pass the stud bolts D, and when nuts are screwed on the bolts a rigid frame is formed. The table top is screwed to the flange I. Specification 171,925, [Class 52 (ii), Furniture for sitting &c. upon], is referred to.
