Abstract
194,672. Declercq, E. March 10, 1922, [Convention date]. Solids, treating with liquids.-The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) describes a construction of lime saturator d, Fig. 1 (Cancelled). Water from a conduit 20 is delivered tangentially into the mouth 48 of a vertical pipe 39 so that a whirling motion therein draws air with it to the bottom of the saturator d. The rising air circulates the lime at the bottom of the saturator around a cylindrical partition 40 and passes away up a tube 41. The water separates, from the lime as it rises outside the tube 41 and is discharged through pipes 45, 58 to the bottom of the treating-vessel b. Slaked lime is supplied from a tank e as required. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
