Abstract

Windows and the like, cleaning.-A wind-screen wiper adapted to be operated from any position in a car by a Bowden wire comprises an arm F projecting from a circular boss which is robatably mounted on a clamp E fixed to the edge of the screen B. Between the clamp and the boss is secured a spiral spring G, and the Bowden wire M is fixed to the boss so as to rotate the arm against the action of the spring. The arm turns, on ball bearings J and the rubber wiper N is resiliently pressed upon the glass by rubber sponge O or a spring arranged behind it.
