192,938. Sykes, H. Feb. 27, 1922. Worm pumps.-The plunger A of a reciprocating pump carries a worm, screw, &c. C, which is rotated by a spindle B through a member B<2> and a sleeve C<1> attached to the worm. The spindle B is screw-threaded and actuates the plunger through a nut E. Guides F on the pump cylinder prevent rotation of the plunger, and one or more members G reciprocating with the plungerprevent swirling motion of the liquid.
