192,857. Dickson, L. W. E. Dec. 5, 1921. Spring devices.-In a spring fork for motorcycles &c. the wheel spindle is mounted in links I pivoted to the bottom of a framework G, the vertical movement of the links being controlled by push-rods H connected to a spring or springs F attached at K, L to the framework G. This framework is pivoted on a spindle O at the base of the steering-stem, and its movement is controlled by a laminated spring or springs E connected by a link D to the steering-stem. A coil spring may be used instead of the spring E, the rods P being connected to a flange between a compression and rebound spring held in a casing attached to the steering-stem. Rods R may be dispensed with.
