Abstract
191,783. Harding, C. H. J. Sept. 20, 1921. Telemotor apparatus. -In telemotor apparatus, the transmitter and receiver each comprise one or more pistons completely submerged in liquid, the cylinders being connected by pipes 11, 12, 13 provided with air chambers 22, and the casings by a pipe 18. A feed-tank 19 and non-return valves 23 in the transmitter pistons are provided. The drive shafts pass into the casings from below, and together with the control shafts and connections are disposed in U-tubes forming seals, which may contain mercury.
