Soaps, materials and compositions for making.-The resins obtained by polymerizing indene and cumarone are emulsified by melting with a saponifiable resin, such as colophony, or a saponifiable fat or oil, and saponifying the mixture with alkali, sodium silicate, or ammonia. The emulsion may be used for sizing paper or for making medical, cosmetic, or like preparations.
