Water-tube boilers.--In a superheater fitted in a water-tube boiler of the Stirling or like type, the headers are connected by two sets of superheating tubes expanded into adjacent sides of the headers, the ends of one set or one end of each set being bent so that the sets are parallel to one another. The headers A, connected by two sets of U-tubes H, I are supported by a girder E upon the boiler drums and are enclosed by a removable cover N of asbestos or like material. In a straight-tube form of superheater, one of the headers is supported above the boiler drums, and the other is arranged between the groups of boiler-tubes.
