Endless-chain conveyers with slat and lath carriers ; discharging and throw-off devices.-For transferring biscuits from an endless chain conveyer b to an oven band d, the conveyer consists of bars a pivoted at c to the chain b in such a manner that they can tilt, as indicated by dotted lines, so that the biscuits may slide or be pushed on to the band d. The free ends of the bars a rest upon supports e<1>, excepting at the region over the oven band where the discharge is to occur, and here they are supported by a rod e carried by arms f pivoted at g, so that they may be lowered by a cam-operated rod i. The chain b is supported by a member j. The bars a may deposit the biscuits on to an intermediate plate, as described in Specification 9028/15.
