Abstract
5064. Hemingway, G. H., and Coventry Acme Motor Co. April 1. Channels in cylinders and engine crank casings.- In a lubricating-device for internal-combustion engine cylinders comprising an annular channel A from which oil is sucked through holes F in the cylinder walls, an annular baffle E is formed in the chamber to prevent the oil from being sucked directly from the supply pipe G through the nearest hole or holes F. With this arrangement, oil may be supplied to the channel by the drip feed. A pipe N may be provided, through which oil is sucked into the crank casing.
