Brackets, electriclamp.-A support A for a dash-board or like electric lamp is rotatably and slidably mounted in a socket o on the dash-board n, so that the position of the lamp can be adjusted, the lamp being switched off when the support is forced into the innermost position. In one form, the socket o is electrically connected with a tube e forming part of the support A, by means of a tube c surrounded by an insulating-tube d. One terminal of the lamp is connected with one pole of the battery through a spring-controlled plunger h, a metal stem g, and a tag j secured between nuts k, m and a spring washer on the stem g, and the other pole of the battery is connected with the other terminal of the lamp through a connecting-screw q, the sleeve o, and the tube e when this tube is within the sleeve o. The sleeve o may have longitudinal and transverse slits to render it resilient.
