Abstract

20,594. Fairweather, W., Fairweather, J., and Fairweather, W. R. Oct. 6. Pressure - regulating valves.-A gas bag or regulator for use with a gas-engine consists of a diaphragm B to which a valve controlling the inlet C is connected. A metal cover F is placed on the outside of the diaphragm, completely enclosing it. An outlet J is provided for the clamher G, and an inspection cover M is placed on the cover. Two flap valves may be placed on the cover to allow rapid admission and exhaust of air from the chamber G, to correspond with the movement of the dia phragm B.
