Abstract

19,372. Casablancas, F. Sept. 2, 1913, [Convention date]. [Addition to 12,477/12.] Rollers and roller heads.-The straps of the drawing-mechanism described in the parent Specification, between which the roving passes on its way to drawing-rollers 3, 3, are made of rubber or like extensible material and the feeding-rollers 4, 4 which actuate the straps are slidably and adjustably mounted on the frame by means of screw-threaded rods 9 and nuts 7. The elasticity of the straps serves to keep them tensioned and to remedy small alterations in their length caused by wear and tear, and has no effect in the drawing action.
